Is a valid passport enough to travel to Bonaire?

Yes, on Bonaire you have to be able to show a valid ID when requested to do so by the authorities. To travel to Bonaire you need a passport that is valid for the whole period you are on the island.

 

What is the weather like on Bonaire?

Bonaire has a very even climate. Temperatures are nearly the same all year round: it is approximately 30 degrees during the day and during the night the temperate drops to approximately 25 degrees. Refreshing trade winds fan the island most of the year resulting in pleasant temperatures. It rarely rains on Bonaire, but if it does, the island knows tropical showers: Short and intense, but after, the sun almost always takes over. Bonaire’s monsoon season runs from half November to half January.

Is Bonaire's tap water drinkable?

The tap water on Bonaire is perfectly drinkable. The water is of high quality and the taste is outstanding.

Do my plugs fit the socket on Bonaire?

On Belnem House Bonaire you can make use of 220V power outlets. European plugs fit the sockets. American converters are available for rent at the reception.

What is the time difference with the Netherlands?

Bonaire lies within the Atlantic Time Zone: GMT -4. Bonaire does not make a difference between summer or winter time. The time difference with The Netherlands is 6 hours in summer and 5 hours in winter.

Do I need vaccinations to travel to Bonaire?

Special vaccinations are not required on Bonaire. However, you should consider your personal medication. When you are using medication, bring enough and ask your pharmacy for an overview of your medications. Protect yourself well against mosquitoes. Wear protective clothing and use an anti-mosquito repellent with DEET.

Which currency can I pay with?

On Bonaire you can pay with Dollars. ATMs are available throughout the entire island.

What is the minimum length of stay?

The minimum length of stay is 4 nights.

What is included in my stay?

For your stay, we ensure a clean accommodation with freshly laundered bed linens and bath towels. Additionally, our accommodations are cleaned every 7 days, with (bath) towels replaced every 4 days. Bedding and beach towels are refreshed every 7 days. We provide your first cup of coffee or tea on the day of arrival, along with a small starter kit containing a sponge and some dish soap.

Is transport arranged from the airport to the resort?

If you do not arrive by rental car, we can arrange a transfer to and from the airport upon request. Our driver will await you in the arrival hall and transport you directly to Belnem House Bonaire. If you wish to take advantage of this service, we kindly request you to contact us. The cost for the transfer is $15 per person round trip.

What time can I check in and check out of the resort?

Check in at Belnem House Bonaire is possible as of 16:00 o’clock. We kindly request you to check out of the resort before 11:00 o’clock.

Are children welcome at the resort?

 

We welcome guests of all ages. However, we want to emphasize that our resort embraces an 'Adult Friendly' atmosphere, where tranquility and relaxation take center stage. In the best interest of all our guests, we kindly request that, for example, no air mattresses or other large inflatable toys be used in the pool, and that activities such as running and shouting be kept to a minimum. Additionally, we do not provide specific children's facilities, as our resort is designed with a focus on adults. We aim to offer a peaceful and relaxed environment for everyone to enjoy.

Do you also rent cars?

Yes we do! Belnem House Bonaire offers 2 types of vehicles: the Renault Oroch pick-up & the Renault KWID economy. The car is ready for you as soon as you arrive at our resort, so no hassle with long lines at the airport, how convenient!

What are the booking conditions?

You can find the booking conditions here. Every booker will also receive this link in the reservation confirmation.

How do I find my apartment?

The apartments and studio-suites can be found under the heading ‘accommodations’. You will find the specifications per accommodation.

Where can I find the prices and offers?

The current prices are visible with each accommodation description and under the Search and Book button. Availability is also shown here. Discounts are always immediately discounted in the price.

Can I make a special reservation?

If you have a preference for a specific apartment or suite, please contact us via WhatsApp, by phone (+599 717 0256) or email. We will help you as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us for other preferences as well.

Can I take out a travel and/or cancellation insurance?

Unfortunately, we do not offer travel or cancellation insurance through our services. We strongly recommend that you arrange these insurances yourself through your insurance company or intermediary.You can find our terms and conditions here.

 

How can I make a reservation?

You can easily book your accommodation through our website. Additionally, it is possible to make a booking over the phone or via email. If you have any special requests, preferences, or if you would like to make a provisional booking, please feel free to contact us.

Can I cancel my reservation?

If you need to cancel your holiday unexpectedly, we kindly request that you contact us by phone. We recommend that you obtain a cancellation insurance policy on your own, so that you are financially protected against unforeseen costs in the event of cancellation.

Can I change my reservation?

For minor changes, you can access your account using your personal login credentials, which you received via email upon making the booking. For any other changes, we kindly request you to contact us directly.

Can I change my personal details?

When logging in with your personal username and password, you can modify your personal information. After completing your booking, you received the login credentials for this purpose via email. If you unexpectedly have no access to your account, we kindly request you to contact us. We are more than happy to assist you further.

What is the status of my reservation?

When you book with us, your reservation is immediately confirmed online, ensuring that you always have your accommodation secured. Shortly after making the booking, you will receive a booking confirmation in your mailbox. This email will also include your login credentials, allowing you to log in to our website. We kindly ask you to make the deposit payment immediately after completing the booking. In the case of a last-minute booking (within 35 days prior to arrival), the full amount is required. If you have not received an email with login information, please check your SPAM folder. If the confirmation is not there, please contact us. After the deposit payment is made, your booking is officially confirmed.

Are there any discount available?

Any discounts will always be directly deducted from the prices. For special offers, we recommend that you subscribe to our newsletter.
